This cozy lodge is reminiscent of the ski lodges in Bavaria. The wood burning stove adds to its warmth and friendly atmosphere. It is not unusual to be treated to an impromptu wine and cheese party or some hot cider or iced tea. It is the only property where guests can get a deluxe continental breakfast and catch the free bus just outside the door. Hiking, biking, tubing, fly fishing, ice skating, hot springs and skiing are just blocks away. Guests will be treated as if they are at a five star hotel, only this property is very affordable. Because we are a small property, guests and staff get to know one another. We welcome you to the Alpiner family, where you can even bring your best friend. No need to leave Fido at home. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Check-in is 4pm. Check-out is 11am. Minimum age required at check-in is 21. Our lobby closes at 11pm. However, there is a phone outside the door with a direct line to our on-site security service. Come explore Steamboat Springs, where year round activities abound. Outdoor activities include skiing, fishing, tubing, camping and biking. And downtown shopping and dining are just a few minutes walk. Steamboat Springs has something for everyone.
