Welcome to Maison de Macarty, a New Orleans Bed and Breakfast, located in the Bywater National Historic District, just five minutes from the sights, sounds and excitement of the French Quarter. Bywater is a bohemian district unique to New Orleans composed of blue collar working class families, young professionals, artists, and musicians. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, our 1860s Victorian home features five guest rooms in the main house, two private cottages, private bath facilities, and a comfortable home away from home for your New Orleans adventure. Enjoy one of our award winning chefs gourmet breakfasts and then either choose to wile away the hours by our mineral water swimming pool, enjoy a good book under the shade of the Crepe Myrtle trees on our private courtyard, or venture out into the city to people watch in Jackson Square, explore the architectural richness of Bywater and Fauborg Marigny, experience our love of food and music, or marvel at the uniqueness and history of our cemeteries.
