The autumn ushers in a scenic splendor as the leaves change colors and the foliage peaks. Additionally - we are centrally located to several of the most plentiful hunting and game sites in New England. As autumn transitions into winter - the Carrabassett Valley enters its peak season. The Herbert is close to Sugarloaf and Saddleback mountains which provide excellent cross-country - alpine and nordic skiing and the Blackfly Loop - a system of snowmobile trails running throughout Maine and into New Hampshire.
