Cove Point Lodge is secluded on a 150 acre preserve on the North Shore of Lake Superior located 50 miles East of Duluth. The lodge provides warm Scandanavian architecture with its own picturesque cove and point. Surrounded by Birch and Pine Forests Cove Point is the closest lodge to the Split Rock Light House. Just a short distance from the lodge guests can enjoy hiking and exploring at Tettegouche State Park Split Rock Lighthouse State Park and Gooseberry Falls State Park. Gitchi-Gami Bike Trails and the Superior Hiking Trail provide an expansive system of hiking and biking trails. After a busy day return to the lodge for lakeside lodge dining relax by our massive stone fireplace in the lobby relax by the indoor lake view pool hot tub and sauna enjoy a campfire by the shore soak in the spectacular lake views and surround yourself with the tranquility of the sound of the waves. 45 Lodge Rooms with warm rustic tones radiate romantic Scandanavian charm. 26 fully-furnished Cottages are perfect for couples families and small groups.
