With its lovely villa accommodations, three golf courses and tennis club, this 800-acre gated resort community is proof that good things do come in small packages on Hilton Head Island. The villa complexes in Shipyard are surrounded by trees draped in Spanish moss, all with swimming pools and within walking distance of the Atlantic Ocean. The numerous lagoons are home to many varieties of semi-tropical birds and wildlife. At our private residential resort community, residents and visitors alike can enjoy all the amenities available over the changing seasons. Shipyard Plantation has a private beach club and reserved parking for resort guests. Bicycling is very popular in Shipyard, and there are more than twelve miles of bike paths. Many take advantage of our most prized possession- the beach. Sunshine by day and warm sea breezes in the evening beckon sun walkers to enjoy the Atlantic shoreline. Check-in is at 4 PM and check-out is at 10 AM. All ResortQuest Hilton Head guests will check-in at the ResortQuest Welcome Center at the location of 21 Pope Avenue, Executive Park Road. The lock box at the ResortQuest Hilton Head Welcome Center office on Pope Avenue is just to the right of our front door. You will be issued an entry code upon confirmation of payment. On the southern end of Hilton Head Island, amidst tall pines, rustic oaks, and tropical palms, lies an experience- Shipyard Plantation. Winding paths, lagoons and island foliage are just a few of the picturesque backgrounds awaiting visitors.
