About Northernaire Resort and Spa
Just as the new Northernaire Resort and Spa is today, the original resort of the 40's, 50's, and 60's was a beautiful respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life offering a true breath of fresh air. Here Carl O. Marty, Jr., the Naturalist and Visionary, created a North woods haven of style and grace were the famous and not so famous came to relax and play. In its heyday, the Northernaire Resort and Spa Vacation Complex was known as the "Waldorf of the Wilderness".
