Formerly known as the GuestHouse Hotel -Hotel CURRENT is the newest edition to the city of Long Beach. We embrace the Southern California beach lifestyle by highlighting hand painted artwork featured by local artists in many areas of the property and through the celebration of the local arts. Hotel CURRENT has renovated its outdoor heated pool area -meeting space -lobby -exterior building and landscaping. 143 Guest rooms are provided with in-room coffee makers -refrigerators -work-desk area with data ports giving all the conveniences of home for both leisure and business travelers. 100 guestrooms are currently being upgraded to a boutique style product featuring contemporary furniture -hand painted artwork -luxurious shower and vanity area -and flat screen TVs. Guests enjoy complimentary shuttle service within a 5 mile radius including the LB Convention and Entertainment Center -Queen Mary -Aquarium of the Pacific -the famed 5 miles of coastline popular Belmont Shores -restaurants -theaters -and more. Conveniently located on the property is Greenfields Brazilian Restaurant that has become a popular destination for locals and hotel guests alike.
