Legendary South Florida Destination gets Multi-Million Dollar Palm Beach Facelift PGA National Resort and Spa has long been known as south Florida s most legendary golf destination. The esteemed resort offers 339 luxury guest rooms and 42 spacious 2-bedroom 2-bath cottages just minutes from Palm Beach County s beautiful beaches saltwater adventures and expansive cultural offerings. The resort embarked upon a USD40 million dollar renovation of the public areas restaurants pool and private Member Clubhouse in 2007. The project re-defined the PGA National Resort experience at every level. Renovations began with a re-designed front entrance for the resort and continued with a completely renovated lobby including the contemporary new lobby bar called iBar. The new Ironwood Grille offers contemporary American cuisine with hints of global influence to serve up delectable menu selections utilizing ingredients from local farmers. Just outside the lobby s back wall of floor-to-ceiling windows guests see a completely redesigned free-form resort pool with lush landscaping water features a dedicated children s pool and play area and new poolside Wave Bar and Grill. The Resort s self-contained meeting complex is comprised of 23 individually decorated meeting rooms three ballrooms and an amphitheater totaling 39000 square feet. Two large ballrooms are now joined by a beautiful new social ballroom called Bella Lago perfect for galas and special events seating up to 140 guests and offering plenty of beautiful views.
