Hotel Biba is a 43-room historic landmark boutique hotel. One of the area's finest examples of Bermuda vernacular architecture, the hotel was originally designed by renowned architect Belford Shoumate. Among the first motor lodges built in the United States, the property was creatively redesigned by avant garde Miami designer Barbara Hulanicki and landscape architect Donald Mrakami. Today the hotel juxtaposes playful modern interior design, serene outdoor spaces and historic architecture to create an experience that is fun, funky and affordable. Mornings begin with fresh juice coffee and pastries in the garden. Biba's Bar offers a superb selection of wine and champagne hors d'oeuvres and the occasional DJ spinning smooth grooves. Hotel Biba's in-the-know concierge can arrange almost any activity one's heart desires- massage treatment- surfing lessons- or local restaurants. The hotel is also available for private functions.
