The Open Hearth Inn has many different lodging options. We have three Bed and Breakfast suites in a 200-year-old New England Cape. All B and B suites have a living room, bedroom, and full bathroom with tasteful antique appointments and include a gourmet breakfast in the Inn's original kitchen with huge open hearth fireplace. The motel rooms are very spacious with two double-size beds, all with microwave, refrigerator, and coffee pot; they all have a futon couch, that can be made up to accomodate a large family. The seasonal cottages are very quaint and cozy, with old fashioned knotty pine board paneling and antique appointments. The cottages are primarily double occupancy, with queen-size beds, or two double beds. Larger groups or familes may have to use two cottages. The two efficiency apartments have full kitchens and are one-bedroom, fully furnished with full baths. One apartment has a fireplace. The apartments are in high demand, and are often booked well in advance for the full season. We have a large Garden Room with six-person jacuzzi tub for our guests, that is very popular after a long day of hiking, biking, sailing, kayaking, etc on the Maine coast. Continental breakfast is included for cottages, motel rooms and apartments.
