About Ansonborough Inn
The Ansonborough Inn is located in a renovated paper warehouse, constructed in 1901. All of our rooms are fully renovated suites, with lofty 25 foot ceilings. These large rooms range from 450 to 750 square feet. Although housed in an historic building, our rooms have all the modern conveniences a well-travelled guest expects, flat screen televisions, wireless internet, microwave oven, refrigerator. and coffee maker. Exposed beams and brickwork in nearly all of our rooms, along with tasteful furnishings, give the Ansonborough Inn a wonderful Charleston ambiance.
The Ansonborough Inn is located in the heart of Charlestons historic district. We are conveniently situated on the corner of East Bay and Hasell Streets, which places us a short walk from all the attractions of Charleston. The historic City Market is three blocks away, waterfront park is five blocks away, and the scenic Battery area is just beyond that. Nearly all of our guests walk to the many fine and casual dining restaurants that have earned Charleston its reputation as a culinary city. The bustling shopping area of King Street is just two blocks from our door.
