About Alta Peruvian Lodge

The Alta Peruvian Lodge offers a rich combination of traditional ski lodge accommodations and fine dining to which our guests return year after year. Since 1948, we have welcomed visitors with an old-world atmosphere full of character and rustic charm. Located at the base of the world-renowned Alta Ski Area in Utah, the Peruvian offers easy access to the exceptional ski conditions Alta is known for- light, fluffy powder with an average annual snowfall of over 500 inches. The morning starts with a full breakfast buffet to get you going, followed by a day of skiing amidst the amazing terrain of the Alta Ski Area. Once back at the lodge you can enjoy apres-ski treats by the fire in our warm, spacious lobby and trade stories of the adventures of the day. Then you can head for the outdoor heated pool and two hot tubs to relax your muscles and watch the sun set behind Mount Superior. You may also choose to unwind in our bar, munching on popcorn and chatting with local skiers. Later, you can join other guests for dinner- family style seating- choosing from many masterfully prepared entrees each night, or enjoying the Grand Buffet on Saturday nights. You may complete the evening by catching a movie on our wide screen HDTV in the Alf Engen Room, or lounging by the fire in the main lobby, which is stocked with games, puzzles and books. Table tennis or foosball is also available in our game room. In short, every day is a full day at the Peruvian.
