Bitter End offers something for everyone who enjoys being in/ on or near the sea. Bitter End is on the North Sound of Virgin Gorda- beautiful/ remote and protected/ 12 miles from Tortola/ 30 miles from St. Thomas and 75 miles from Puerto Rico. Bitter End is situated on 75 acres of land and more than a mile of waterfront on the northeast extremity of Virgin Gorda. It fronts North and Statia Sounds. The property is accessible only by water. Bitter End is the last island outpost before the open waters of the Atlantic Ocean Over 15 weekly excursions in and around North Sound allow for such activities as snorkelling and exploration of the famous rock formations at The Baths/ the coral island of Anegada and the kaleidoscopic underwater scenery at Norman Island. Guests are invited to learn to sail with the complimentary Introduction to Sailing Course/ and they can get out on the water on the Club fleet/ to which they have unlimited access. Whether they want to windsurf/ kayak/ row/ sail/ or pick up a picnic lunch and set off on a boating adventure in North Sound aboard one of our Boston Whaler motorboats/ our friendly and knowledgeable staff will get them ready to go and share a few pointers and favourite secluded spots to visit.
