About Hunters Meet Restaurant Hotel - Leisure Centre

Since 1990 we have established a Hotel, Restaurant & Leisure Centre that has become totally unrivalled in the area. Our Hotel comprises four-poster rooms, prestige rooms, double and twin rooms, en-suite with all the usual services including TV, Radio, Video Channel and direct dial telephones. We also have a fully equipped Leisure Centre with heated indoor pool, gym, sauna and steam room which is free for Hotel guests to use while they stay with us. Hunters Meet Restaurant, Hotel and Leisure Centre is situated overlooking the historic Hatfield Heath, a thriving village on the Hertfordshire / Essex border, close to Stansted Airport. The restaurant was bought by Lesley & Brendan in December 1990 after it had lain empty for some 14 months. It now has a reputation for its cuisine and, more importantly, its atmosphere and value for money. There are several menus to choose from including our mid-week Hunters Hearty Menu, our Dinner Dance menu, our famous Sunday Lunch menus or the A La Carte menu which boasts 32 starters and 47 main courses. The Hotel wing was completed in May 1997. All the rooms have en-suite facilities; some have four-poster beds. Our prestige rooms have Corona beds and of course we have standard double/twin rooms. We also have a 'family suite' of two rooms adjoining which can also be utilized for mini-conferences for small, informal meetings. The rooms are furnished to a high standard using Victorian pine furniture and decorations in muted pastel shades to complement the country feel of the Hotel. Tea/Coffee making facilities are provided and all rooms have television, radio and direct dial telephones. The use of hair dryers, ironing facilities and a laundry service is also available (usually overnight).
