On entering the hotel you walk into a cosy open plan reception area and lounge, where guests may read newspapers and glossy magazines, meet visitors, or plan the day ahead. The emphasis is on an informal atmosphere and friendly service and the staff will do their best, to make you feel relaxed and at home. The rooms are compact but well appointed, with attention paid to detail. Oak and mahogany have been used for the furniture, finished in Italian granite. Attractive prints adorn the walls, and brass light fittings and low voltage lights complete the effect. A generous buffet Continental Breakfast is included in the tariff and is served in the *Conservatory* dining room.The room is dotted with terracotta pots full of gorgeous flowers, and is a delightful place to start your day.
